This living room was designed for a young, active family with two teenage sons. With this in mind, we incorporated an area for dining, homework, as well as a place to play family board games. A sophisticated and welcoming space was the goal of this design. The fabrics we chose were similar to menswear fabrics; beige and white tweed for the sofa a wide wale corduroy in taupe for the two club chairs.
A comfortable window seat was designed with a printed fabric that coordinated with the rust color behind the bookshelves. Golds, taupe, rust and tan were used throughout the room, accented with green and the use of black in artwork. A cherry harvest table with a black apron was chosen along with two ladder back chairs and a caned bench to maximize the seating potential for large groups of people. While drapery panels dressed other windows in the room, printed Roman shades dressed the window seat area.
I want to thank you for the fantastic job you did on remodeling my living room. My goal was to find a turn-key design firm that would handle all phases of my remodeling project. I appreciated the fact that you followed up on every aspect of the project, attending to even the most minute details. Thanks Again for exceeding my expectations.
Best Regards,
